In the movie business the term budget is the first thing that has to be discussed before you even get to make a movie. Movies are made on a budget. Many small production studios have to pitch to the major studios for money to create a movie. Why is a budget needed? A budget in any business is needed inorder to make sure that you only spend the alloted amount of money to create your product. A movie like Avatar had a big movie budget so there was alot of things that James Cameron was able to make a spectaular movie.
